4-H Honor Club
The 4-H Honor Club is a wonderful opportunity for youth in grades 6-12 to grow as leaders, make a positive difference in their community, and build lasting friendships with other motivated young people.
Honor Club members explore local, state, and national government, learn more about their community, and participate in meaningful service projects that help others. Along the way, members develop leadership skills, gain valuable experiences, and connect with youth who share similar interests and goals.
While service and leadership are important parts of the program, Honor Club is also designed to be fun and rewarding. Members enjoy social activities throughout the year, celebrate accomplishments, and create memories with fellow 4-H’ers.
There is no cost to participate.
How Honor Club Works
Students earn points in three areas:
- Service
- Leadership
- Project Work: Project Selection Sheet
Once a member earns 100 points, they become eligible for initiation into the Honor Club. (4-H Honor Club has nothing to do with academic grades!)
The Tennessee 4-H Honor Club program encourages members to:
- Participate in meaningful experiences
- Develop and practice leadership skills
- Serve their community
- Reflect on their growth and accomplishments
- Connect with other youth from across Tennessee
- Make a positive impact in their communities and in their own lives
- Receive support, encouragement, and recognition for their achievements
Meeting Information
Meetings are held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. at Lane Agri-Park, Community Center Building (located at the back of the property).
