Support

UT/TSU Extension provides services and opportunities to all residents of Rutherford County.  While grants and fundraising help support most of our efforts, donations and volunteering are essential to some of our programs.  Below are a few ways you can help support our services.

  • Master Food Volunteer:  Volunteer info
    • We LOVE our volunteers who help with clubs, classes, and events.  If you have a few hours a week to spare we can find a place for you!
  • Sponsor a camper ($)
    • Every year we supplement summer camp fees for children who would not otherwise be able to attend.  We can only help as many children as we receive funding for.  This effort is supported ENTIRELY by fund raising and donations.  If you’d like to help a child go to 4-H Camp for the first time, please consider making a donation.
  • There are also several opportunities for an adult to volunteer in the 4-H program.  An indivdual can provide a service that they are interested in such as shooting sports, sewing, cooking, wildlife and much more.  We always need help conducting 4-H clubs.  If you are interested in volunteering, check out our programs under the 4-H Youth Tab, and contact the agent in charge of the group with any questions you may have.
