Horse Club

Meets on the second Monday-September to May, 6:15 pm to 7pm at Lane Agri Park (unless other plans have been made). Contact Tammy to be put on the email list for meeting information and building location.

Come hear speakers on Horse-related topics and hands-on workshops! Members do not have to own horses to participate. Members are 4^th-12^th graders. Earn Horse Bucks & qualify to show at County, Region and State.

Hippology/Horse Bowl

Learn about horses from the tips of their noses to their tails! We study Agriculture, Horse Industry, Farm Management and more with interesting classes and fun activities. Horse Bowl is like Jeopardy for Horse Lovers. We answer questions in a competitive fashion. Members do not have to own horses to participate. Team members are 4^th-12^th graders, and are divided by grade level (Juniors, 4^th-5^th graders; Jr. Highers, 6^th-8^th graders; Seniors, 9^th-12^th graders). Earn Horse Bucks and qualify to compete on the County, Region, and State teams!

Horse Judging

Come learn how to judge horses and qualify to compete in Region and State competitions! Learn to judge horses based on conformation and performance standards, and compete as teams in different age groups. Members do not have to own horses to participate. Earn Horse Bucks, compete at Region and State competitions, and meet some awesome show horses!

Horse Showing

Members have the opportunity to show their horses in three shows (County, Region, and State) during the spring/summer. Members own or lease their horses. For those who don’t have horses, there are opportunities to volunteer to learn about the different aspects of show organization and behind the scenes activities at shows.
