Master Beef Program


Tennessee Master Beef Producer Training

All pertcipants must attend all 4 zoom sessions and the 1 day face to face to receive a Master Beef Poducers certification.

  • Monday nights at 6:00pm Zoom Session Topics include:
    • January 29th – Maintenance & Winterization of Farm Equipment
    • February 5th – Discovering your Waypoints: A Guide Map to creating Your Business Plan
    • February 12th – Everything old is New again: Improving Margins through Cross Breeding
    • February 19th – Does Your Lease Agreement Protect You?
  • 1 day face to face – March 2nd 9am to 3pm at Lane Agri Park- Livestock Barn
    • Topics :
      • Body Condition Scoring
      • Winter Weed Walk
      • Fecal Egg Counting for Cattle
      • Equipment Calibration, etc
  • A mixture of classroom & hands-on experiences.
  • Cost $100 – includes lunch for Saturday, March 2nd.
  • Deadline to register is January 23rd
