Participants will learn how to provide proper care and training for beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, goat, and swine. We have a livestock show during the summer where 4-H’ers can show off all that they have learned. You do not have to own an animal to be a member of this group. 4-H members must attend at least three meetings in order to exhibit project animals at regional and state shows.
Meetings are held 6:15pm to 7pm on the following Dates and Buildings at Lane Agri Park.

4-H Chick Chain-Participants in the 4-H Chick Chain receive baby chicks during Spring Break. They are responsible for caring for the chicks until they bring their best five birds back for the 4-H Poultry Show and Sale, usually in August. The money raised from the sale is divided up and given back to the participants (as long as they meet all requirements). They also get to keep the rest of their chickens at home. There is a fee for this group. We will accept applications until the end of February or until the group is full. Applications will be available at the Poultry Club meetings.
